Social Meal this Thursday

As it’s August, we’re having our annual social meal, rather than a formal meeting this month.

Meet us at 7.30 this Thursday (9th August) at Ming Moon, 16 Hurst Street, Birmingham, B5 4BN.

We’ll be eating a Chinese buffet, enjoying the company of like-minded and passionate people, and bonding as a group.  And not to forget why we’re all part of Amnesty, there’ll be an action to do as well.

    Super evening, thank you Bert for suggesting and Pete for organising!
    Another point – one of those times when I felt proud to be a Brummie, with a real mix of people from different backgrounds and ethnicities, in the Chinese restaurant, not least an understandably excited group cheering the Jamaican clean sweep in the 200m on the TV in the corner. People really can get on, and it’s a richer city and a richer world for having such a mix. Let’s celebrate that 🙂
