Letter writing: Tues 28th May

You are warmly invited to our monthly evening taking action over a cuppa:

Letter Writing for Human Rights

6:30pm Tuesday 28th May 2024

at 200 Degrees, 21-23 Colmore Row, Birmingham city centre, B3 3SD

Please note that for 2024, our letter-writing is returning to the fourth Tuesday of each month, to avoid clashes with other Amnesty events.

Join us for this informal evening, where we sign letters in support of human rights defenders around the world.

Simply turn up, and join us for action and chat while enjoying a coffee (feel free to bring a reusable cup as sometimes only take-away cups are available).  We’ll provide pre-printed letters, based on research carried out by Amnesty’s international team.

We start around 6:30pm, but you’re welcome to drop in at any point over the hour. The cafe closes at 8pm. If it’s your first time joining us, feel free to drop us an email at amnestybrum@gmail.com, so that we can welcome you.

Make sure you come to the Colmore Row branch of 200 Degrees (not the one on Temple St).

If you’re not able to meet in-person, you can download May’s letters to sign at home.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend, and see you on Tuesday!
