You are warmly invited to our February Meeting where the focus will be:

Getting our Message Out There

(& Paying for it!)

Thursday 9th February 2016 at 7:30pm

at Two Snowhill, Birmingham City Centre, B4 6GA

We’ll be thinking about how we can communicate our message of human rights effectively: both to the general public and to activists.  We’ll also be planning some fundraising activities, to make sure we can continue to fund our work into the future.

Everyone is welcome to join us – we look forward to seeing you there.  However, the security team at Two Snowhill have asked if we can let them know who’s coming to the meeting: so please try to email amnestybrum@gmail.com beforehand to let us know.

NB this is our final meeting at this venue, details of where our upcoming meetings are going to be held will be posted here soon.

If it’s you first time, or if you’d just like a friendly chat before the main meeting, we’ll be having a short pre-meeting 7:10-7:25pm at Costa Coffee on Colmore Row (next to Snow Hill station). We’ll have a chat to welcome you, before heading over to the main meeting at 7:25 (so if you arrive later than that, just head straight over to Two Snowhill.)

Why not drop us an email at amnestybrum@gmail.com so that we know to look out for you and to be extra friendly!

At AmnestyBrum, we rely on donations from our members and the public to support our work for human rights.  This means that each year we need to do some fundraising, and there are two ways that you can help out in the next 2 months:

1. Group subs – we ask members of the group for a donation (if they can afford it) towards the running of the group – suggested donation £4 for the year.  You can pay by cash at our next meeting (12th Feb) or use the donate button on the top right of our blog.

2. Solihul street collection – on Sat 28th March, Solihull Amnesty are organsing their annual street collection.  If you are able to volunteer for a couple of hours that day, please email amnestybrum@gmail.com . You’ll be provided with an official collecting tin and ID badge (as well as a cup of tea or coffee when you’re finished!)

Many thanks for your generosity. All money donated will be used for our campiagning work for human rights.
