You are warmly invited to our November Meeting where the focus will be:
Action Planning: taking Human Rights to the Public
Thursday 10th November 2016 at 7:30pm
at Two Snowhill, Birmingham City Centre, B4 6GA
Having learnt in more detail about our focus campaigns on Syria and Welcome Refugees in recent months, at our November meeting we’ll be thinking about how we can take what we’ve learned to the public. There are large numbers of people in Birmingham over the Christmas period, and there’ll be further opporunities to raise awareness and ecourage action in the new year. So we’ll be gathering ideas, and working out how to put them into action. Plus, we’ll look to our annual greetings card event in December, as part of Write for Rights.
Everyone is welcome to join us – we look forward to seeing you there.
Pre-meeting
If it’s you first time, or if you’d just like a friendly chat before the main meeting, we’ll be having a short pre-meeting 7:10-7:25pm at Costa Coffee on Comore Row (next to Snow Hill station). We’ll have a chat to welcome you, before heading over to the main meeting at 7:25 (so if you arrive later than that, just head straight over to Two Snowhill.)
Why not drop us an email at amnestybrum@gmail.com so that we know to look out for you and to be extra friendly!
