Monthly Meetings.
These take place on the second Thursday of each month (except August and December) at 7.30pm at Wragge & Co, 55 Colmore Row, Birmingham City Centre (map).
If it’s your first time, why not come along to the pre-meeting at Urban Coffee Company (Church Street Birmingham, West Midlands B3 2NP) This is at 7pm on the day of the main meeting – you can have a chat with one of our friendly members, before walking over to the main meeting together.
Anyone is welcome at all our meetings, we’d love to see you there.
So what happens at an AmnestyBrum Meeting?
We try to have a speaker or workshop at each meeting to learn about a human rights topic, or improve our skills at campaigning. We also have as at least one action that everyone can take to support one of Amnesty’s cases. These activities make up the main part of the meeting, and everyone is welcome to get involved – whether you’re an experienced campaigner, or totally new to human rights.
At the end of the meeting, we also plan and discuss the running of the group, get updates from Amnesty UK and vote on any changes we want to make to the group. Everyone is welcome to stay for this discussion, but don’t feel obliged if you’ve just come for the campaigning side of things!
Seasonal Meetings
In August we have a social meeting instead of a formal one, and in December we have our greetings card event – enter your email on the right to get updates about these and all our monthly meetings sent straight to your inbox.

Hope to come in September x
That would be great – look forward to meeting you then
